They are ok if you have a low budget, on a similar note, i have a paur of 330w pioneer 6x9s looking for a good homne, fully plumbed inot a clio mk1 parcel shelf - £50 ono
My car had std 13" steels in, i stuck 15" on with lower profile tyres, thin they are 11% bigger, and the difference in handling is imense, much faster through corners. Think thats more to do wiht the fact that they were 40mm wider tho
Surley if you used a very long extension bar, or conbination of extension bars you could do it without disrupting the suspension?
Get someone with reallt small hands/arms to do it
..although saying that the first bloke i spoke to, because i wasnt gonne get ity fitted within 3 weeks basically told me to f**k off. They really werent helpfull atall, i think i would rather pay the extra and go to a decent company that is gonna be there if anything goes wrong
On the old shape clios it is on the panel, facing upwards by the bonnet hinges on the drivers side, dunno oabout on the new ones, have a look in your manual
I think its just a case of noone ever says anything if all is well, but complains like hell if it goes wrong.
Ive got a 9 year old car with only 20k on the clock, and have had no problems
If the valver is ideling high, surely you just need to adjust the idle speed?
Its the accelerator calbe to controls how fast it idles. If the dials are giving dodgy readings, then the revs are nothign to do wiht the speedo cable.
Cant undestand why you would need to change this?
I have a 1.2 clio without central locking, and getting an alarm fitted, thi sfunctions as the control unit, and then im buying the locks wiht the motors in 2nd hand.
Prolly easiest to install is get the locks wiht motors, wiring loom and conrtol unit and stick it all in.
Just be careful, you do need to make sure these peopel know what they are doing, ive found the concept 300 fitted for almost £50 less then my local place, butthey ahve fitted alarms for my mates, they are a a small compnay and know exactly what they are talking about.

Wait till Daz is online, he has a guide on his website.
You will need to remove the dust cap and spray lots of wd-40 in there now, then replace it. The tool he knocked up was a large socket wiht a bolt through it, easier if you see it. When you have the torsion bar out, raise the trailing...
What you have to remember is that you get what you pay for, if you buy a crap cheap backbox, then teh quality will be crap, and it will rust through in a few years etc.
I would say that for a new one you are looking at just over the £100 mark. I paid £110 for my peco one including delivery...
Christ im sure this said without ploishing.
There is a product out called Demon Shine, claims you add it to a bucket of water, pour over the car and cahmois it off. I got a bottle for free, but havent had chance to use it to rate it yet.

Spoke to a guy about a clifford concept 300, and he said that wihtin a month they are discntinuing that range, and bringing out a whoel new range, wiht a load more gizmos
It happens on all cars, even mine wiht drum brakes, what is a real b*****d is when youve cleaned it and it freezes, and the pads are frozen to the drum/disc
Yeah your ok, the same thing happened to me about 2 months ago, at 4am, saw the camera on totherside of the road, and sped up and the thing flashed me.

They are in the midlands mate, by a little place called Long MArston, coincedently where Global Gathering (the dance event) is held, and the home of the Shakesphere county raceway

They are a company local to me that i get bits of pipe for for my de-cats, they sell simonez(sp) exhausts for kit cars/rally cars, so the systems are custom made, so they do reducers, i think.
