Gonna be worth £250 if you bought it from DVLA aren't they? Type similar layouts on their site and see what they come up with. Give 'em a ring and ask as to whether the plates are legally yours ;)

They could personally sue you for damages and compo. You run the risk of financial ruin with court costs etc.
