    Decat nightmare!!!

I used to have this with my first 182 running decat too. Like foot to the floor but power draining. Then it would kick in. Was a very rare occurance, but annoying.

    Turinis on and exhaust!

Yeah that sounds like a plan. Car looks sweet. I'd have those alloys in matte black, but that's personal preference.

    182 + GF borrowing it = error

LOL @ blaming the missus without posting pics of her. etc. Mine destroyed the gearbox on my Clio Williams while I was learning her to drive. FFSnake. That didn't cost £800 to fix (it was more).

Fastcar Clio 172 Air Filter Test

I have a stock box and K&N filter in mine currently. Been in since I bought it. When I had my first 182 back in 2004 I had a BMC CDA and as above it sounded superb - real throaty voice and you could hear it sucking the air in. However, it was definitely missing something low down and the...

New plates = good excuse for photos of the ph1

They'd have to be harsh pulling over for 510x90 or so. I can understand it for proper 3/4" plates though. I had them on my P1 and got pulled a few times.

    oreca group n exhaust

I don't think I could cope with that. My WR1 was bad enough. It used to shake the house.

    Spacers on standard wheels.

The problem with System B spacers is that the spacer bolts to the hub and the wheel in turn bolts to the spacer. The spacers are aluminium IIRC which isn't an ideal material for the wheel's to be bolted to. So to get round that they bond steel threaded inserts into the aluminium for your wheel...

    Spacers on standard wheels.

They are hubcentric mate, which means they will need longer bolts (which come with the order). They have a lip around the centre bore which your wheel sits on, just like it does on the hub of the car itself. The bolts won't snap and they don't take any of the weight of the car. Unless you're...

    Spacers on standard wheels.

Yeah check the other thread in this section. I've posted the links to the spacers that ch!ppen used. I've just ordered 15mm all round. Was going to go for 15mm rear and 20mm front but want to be safe there'll be no rubbing on the fronts.
