What is worst is when you are just locking the door, 10 mins after closing time and someone wants to get sommet, oh i spent £70 in here earlier on 2day, well great, i dont paid after closing time, all the tills are cashed up and in the safe.
Some people really arseholes.
Do you recon that seeing as how i dont have any acbles going to my doors, i could just source the rubber bit and remove the wirign plug from the inside of the car, and drill a large hole through the wiring plug and just thread the cable through, and just have that as the only cabel going through.
Not tryign to stick up for them, the only time ive asked for advice at Halfords it was wrong, but could it be the guy had only recently started, just think you may be being a bit harsh on him.
You can get LED lights that flash in time to the music, maybe the controller unit from one of those, i wouyld imagine they work on the same priniciple.
I would imagine it would use a sound sensitive resistor to vary voltage supply.
Yeah good idea only how am i gonna take my computer mic all the way down stairs, and out inot the road, then tape it ot my exhaust and drive off wihtout fooking my pc or mic?

Has anyone had any experience with spraying wiht an air gun / compressor.
My m8 put the idea of gettting one inot my head 2day, i can get a decent sized compressor for about £120, and gun is only about £30 ish.
Ive been quoted by a m8s uncle to paint my front and rear bumpers £100, my...
Im toying wiht eh idea of gettign a 16v vented bonnet, removing the rain guard part of the vent, cus the air will blow through the vent straight onto the K&N.
What does everyone think of this idea?
I know a couple of people on here have done this with good effect (I think).
I wouls say use 2AWG, better to be safe than sorry, at then end of the day as long as its earthed dont matter if its one point or 10, it aint gonna blow a hole in teh car body
If you really cant get any i can get hold of some from my local motorworld /halfords and post it to you if u really cant travel a few mile down the road to ur local shop.
Demon Tweeks sell 105A, and 135A battery cable in blk and red from £1.76/metre, apart from that i would imagine that somewhere like halfords sells it, much easier to get it from a shop rather than mail order.
Obviously the above aint 2 guage, try giving demon tweeks a ring, often they have...
Yup, if i was to take a gap year it would be next year but if i start workign i proly wont go back to being a poor student, only a few more years till im a rich civil engineer. Then its Cup time
Yeah thast where i got the above pic
I tend to like bodykits liek the above, not over the top, but with the bottem bit of the bumper sticking out, got my eye on a PSG.
By the time i have the money to get it ill prolly end up gettign sommet completely different
You can get a central locking kit for around £50, im getting the Clifford Concept 300 - cat1 alarm for £349 installed from http://www.clifford-diect.co.ukwww.clifford-diect.co.uk, dunno how much the central locking kit will be to install, but lemmie know how much it costs u, as im in the same...

its gonna be a continuing 5 year project while im at uni so i have plenty of time to save up for it all, so then when i sell it at the end of that it will be a complete project.
Sommet liek this looks good (did post these before but they were removed:@)...
I didnt sand mine, paint stucks fine, all depends on whether u want a smooth finish in the end, you can always use some high build primer over the plastic primer - much easier than sanding. Although when i paitn my dash im gonna smooth it all
nope, my m8 got the terminator kit, i think mk1 clios look ok wiht bodykits on, the only prob is lowering the arse end if u dont upgrade the dampers u cant take much weight, e.g. m8s
Demon tweeks do em, also ffwd motor sport(they advertise in max power), also i think u can get em through Halfords, RGM motorsport do them i think.
Lemmie know what they look like when uve done em, i was thinking of getting some.
What i did when gettign mine was to find a pic of the hweels, take a pic of the car and actually put the wheels on the car in the pic to see how it looked. Wheel size, as a general rule you can go 2" bigger wihtout having to do any arch modifications.
I have OZ Titan ones on mine...
Tbh its so easy you may as well do it yourself.
When i did mine i was a complete newbie to spray painting. All you have to do is remember to do lots of thin even coats.
Remove the trim from the car, give it a light sand, degrease it with sommet like meths. Do about 4/5 thin coats of...
