Hi guys,
When driving I have noticed recently that there is some kind of squeak coming from outside of the car. This doesnt happen all of the time, and only seems to happen when I am coasting along without my foot on the accelerator. I have noticed it at motorway speeds, and lower speeds. Its...
Yeah it is the price of the Mini that lets it down. I gave my Cooper back to the garage when I got my clio (b*s*a*d* only gave me 11K for it), and they put it up on the fourcourt for 13K. It was a year old with 26,000miles on the cklock. OK it did have a load of extras on it, and cost close to...
I know they are different cars, but Ive got a 172 cup, so theyre still 16" tyres at the end of the day. I think I put Continental Sports on mine, and they were about £45 - £50 each
I thought the new Cooper S had gone from 167bhp to 170bhp, not 200?? Thats what it was when I was looking 6months ago, unless it has been upgraded again. The works is 210bhp though.
Either way the clio would be quicker cos the Minis are so heavy
No I think the VXR is also 2ltr, it just produces 240bhp. I think the dealer gets hold of them about July, and you can order 1 to get 1 about sept / oct
I had a Mini Cooper before my 172 Cup, and have driven the Cooper S. The Clio is quicker, no doubt about that, but the Mini did handle very well. I find the clio handles well but is a bit twitchy, but I think that is cos I dont know how far I can push it as I havent had it on a track yet like I...
The new VXR does look the dogs, and I have already booked my test drive. I have driven a few of the Seat Cupras, and am yet to be disappointed with one of them, so I imagine the new leon cupra r should be just as good.
I havent seen any pics of the new CTR yet, but Im not the biggest fan of...
I was just queryin realy, but I have got 2 wheels that could do with getin done. So suppose if I am serious about getin them done I will get them done in the near future.
Fred gave a some prices above, seems fairly reasonable, but then I have nothin to compare it to
i dont think tiff needed any convincing. he admitted hed always liked the ctr. His mind was already made up before he even got behind the wheel of the clio
Hi,
1) Yeah it is a great little car for nippin about town. You can drive it like any other car, but then you have got the power when you want it.
2) A blind purchase is always risky no matter what you are looking at buying. But I dont think you would be disappointed with a 182. Its a great...
Sounds like similar syptoms to a problem I had with mine, a rattle when accelerating, and then a big bang. My engine didnt cut out though. Just sounded like a tractor the next day. Turns out the manifold had split. They did replace it under warranty. Said it would be returned the same day as...
Sorry for you mate. Same thing happened at my place. They broke in to house for my dads car keys to his Leon Cupra R, and took my mums keys to her TF. She got her keys re-programmed at the local dealer, I think it cost about £80. Means they could get in to the car with the keys, but wouldnt be...
