There's one on 197.net in that spec. I think it's just under £2k for the Recaro pack and the i.d. leather pack. Black with red stitching would look good.
In all honesty, it depends how serious you want to go. List of the suspension I've owned
-Prolines
-Sportlines
-Apex springs (on a car I purchased, I didn't buy them)
-AST coilovers
-H&R coilovers
-KW V2 coilovers
-Whiteline ARB
Springs are not adequate for a track car, imo standard suspension...
Repost, and twoddle. Go read up, and see how many accidents have excess speed as a contributory factor. If you can tear yourself away from the Daily Mail;).
In all honesty, I don't think it is. Tyre test carried out at conti's own facility, without some big names their. No prizes for guessing who won??
The german tyre tests are the ones I look for, there seems to be less bias in them.
All correct tbf. Need to budget £1500 if you want to get decent suspension/brakes etc. Personally, I'd just get a whiteline ARB (£150ish), pads/discs/lines (<£200), and 15's with standard road tyres. You'll be amazed by the ARB. Pound for pound, a bigger improvment than coilovers.
Was in a similar situation (having owned 2x ph2 172's, a 182cup and a Trophy). Ended up selling a ph2 172 and the Trophy to get a ph1 and do lots of work to it. Never, ever regretted it. The ph1 is lighter as standard, has much better throttle response (ignore the ph2 ladies that deny this...
Amazing that the Impreza got so much flak at release, yet now I'm with the Jew et al, would much rather the Subaru! By no means a bad replacement though, enjoy. Ignore Munson, he's riddled with boost. Black on white looks great.
It would look better lower, but not worth it. I doubt the 1.7 kits are much cop, the 1.7 is hardly a performance car. Looks great, you should bring it to lemans next year. Given the arch gap, you won't need a tent.
Not at all, there are a few on here that have driven/fitted pretty much every setup going. Never heard a positive word said about them. End of the day, if they were decent they'd sell a lot more. They are the cheapest adjustable damping setup around I think?
Beauty of these forums is the advice...
Have to agree, that's not funny imo. As said, I'd be looking at the companies liability etc, and go back and check if there are any signs up in the car park regarding liability. I'd do that asap, no doubt they'll be put up if the organisers get wind of legal action.
Neither. Get a whiteline ARB, will make a much, much bigger difference than springs (speaking from experience). Similar cost, but easier to fit (1/2 hr diy job).

Have to factor in the Honda engine's being relatively sophisticated, whereas the RS engine's are basic. Simple truth is, for the costs involved, there isn't the demand, end of. Just putting products on the market can't ensure demand.
Don't forget that it took a good while for parts to appear...
Supply and demand, coupled with development costs. The engines are tricky to get decent gains from. There are plenty options where it counts (ie suspension/brakes).
Tuning na renault engines is generally a mugs game.
