Bilstein B14 coilovers - creaking

I have just installed KW V2's and they are also creaking. Somehow I am not sure it's the bearings. I suspect it's the carrier spring not rotating properly.

KW Coilovers Variant 2 - knocking, groans and binding

Nah. They are bolted in pretty firmly, but I will check.

KW Coilovers Variant 2 - knocking, groans and binding

Already tried a range of different damping settings. Running full soft on front and mediumish at rear. Will increase the rear height tomorrow and see how it helps

KW Coilovers Variant 2 - knocking, groans and binding

Front noise. Rears do seem to be "clunking" for lack of a better word. I think they could be too low - will adjust them to middle and see if that solves that. It's the fronts that are concerning me. It just feels like there's something out of place somewhere. I am wondering if my helper spring...

KW Coilovers Variant 2 - knocking, groans and binding

Hi guys, I've installed some KW Coilovers Variant 2 a couple of weeks ago. I am using Pure Motorsport top mounts. The rear is on the lowest height setting, and the front is on a fairly moderate height. I am yet to set them up properly - it was more to make sure I wasn't rubbing. I wanted to...

HEL Braided lines- part number CBK111. Too short?

I've just had HEL Braided brake lines for 172/182 tried to be fitted to my 182 Non Cup by my mechanic. He was able to fit the rears, but the fronts were apparently too short and were rubbing on the guard. Any idea? I have a set of Goodridge Lines here and they are the same length too. Is there...

Janspeed exhaust not as raspy as I'd like it

Yeah Daniel I might. If it doesn't make a difference, I'll sell the Janspeed/KTEC to someone on OZrs (will get 500 I think) and get a BTM/Yozza.

Mr Pink, that sounds awesome. Perfect sound imo. How loud is it? Mustn't be too bad with the 200 cell cat still there. Your car sounds awesome...

Janspeed exhaust not as raspy as I'd like it

Unfortunately I cannot run a decat in Australia. It's a $10,000 dollar on the spot fine.

Janspeed exhaust not as raspy as I'd like it

I'm running the 2.25" Supersports Janspeed/KTEC system and it's not bad. But it's a bit droney and bassy. I rish it were more raspy. I cannot go a decat. They are illegal in Australia with huge fines. Should I swap for a Yozza? Or try for a 100cell cat?

    New Janspeed 182 SuperSports exhaust

Sounds a lot louder in real life. Think it has to do with the camera being towards the front of car, so getting a lot of engine noise:

Thoughts on Janspeed Supersport (not sport)

I've been looking at exhausts for my 182. Will be run with the original cat. Don't want it too loud. Am leaning towards the Janspeed over the others. The issue is which type - sports or supersports? The videos of sports seem very muted and silenced. Hard to find a supersports video. Dom

Refurbing my 2118's. Want a shinier anthracite? Opinions?

So my 2118's are pretty shabby after some idiot kerbed 2 of them (me...). I want to refurb them, but in a much shinier variant of Anthracite. I'm not sure what I mean, but perhaps something like so: Anyone have any pictures of similar antracites?

    182 stuttering

Local Renault dealership helped me out and we blow dried the plugs dry. All working perfectly now. Great guys at Cartwright Euro Gold Coast.

    182 stuttering

Awesome. Will report back with findings. I suspect it's water too. That said, it drove well for about 100km in the 2 journeys I made directly after it. It was only when I floored it in 1st hard, that it started happening.

    182 stuttering

How hard is this to do? Dark here now, so may wait for morning. Any guide I can follow for piece of mind?

    182 stuttering

Any throttle position. Checked with RSTuner module, and no faults logged. Turned it on and pretty serious misfire. Checked and reseated all coils. I did give the engine bay a quick wash, but didn't get water anywhere near coils yesterday. What should I do next?

    182 stuttering

Was driving today. At low revs (sub 4000) the car was stuttering and cutting out under full throttle. As if it was low on fuel. Any idea what I should be looking for? I am yet to look for faults using RSTuner.

Anyone know of any center caps that will fit a 2118, both front and rear? Sick of the rusty hub showing.
