Hi guys, I've just bought myself a super, super clean 182 FF with Sportlines, Short shift kit, Odyssey battery, recovered steering wheel, etc as a daily. I have a set of anthracite 2118's in my garage ready to go on, as well as a Skoda splitter and some tasty semi-slick rubber. Arrives here...

Afaik, Team Dynamics are all 73.1mm centre bore. Clios have a 60.1mm shaft, so you'll need a 73.1 to 60.1 spigot ring.

Yeah. My sportlines sit perfectly with the stock 182 wheels. I think it's around a 30mm drop

Guess I'll just have to put them on and see how they look.

So my 182 is being delivered this week, and I have a set of 2118's in the cupboard. It's running Sportlines on it atm, with stock shocks. Will it be low enough to make the 2118's work?

Any idea if just Sportlines will make it low enough to look good?

Hi guys. What's the deal with spigot rings? Are they needed for a set of 2118's? What is the hub size on a 182?

Yeah it's not bad. 2nd can be tricky to get occasionally, and it's long throw is annoying.

Oh, just a few posts on here allude to them being very notchy. Like this quote for example: I love a sweet gearbox, but so long as it's no worse then an average car I don't mind.

I'm looking at a 182, and have yet to drive it. I keep hearing reports on how bad the gearbox is. Is it that bad? The one I'm looking at has an EngineDynamics short-shift kit . How would it compare to say a 1991 205 GTI?

Yeah that's what I figured. I was all set to buy a monaco blue 172, but the seller pulled out, and now I'm interested in a 182. I have a set of 2118's and was wondering what they might look like. It looks lower, and is running Eibach Sportlines (30mm drop). So ET45 is correct for a 182 cup...

Anyone have any pics of the 2118's on ANY colour, but using stock 182 suspension? Also... a 45 offset would fit a 182 wouldn't it?
