How does it know when to turn them on then? A request from a media player? i.e turn the ps3 on, search for media servers, find nas drive? ​or am I in the wrong ball park?

Well I used to leave my pc on all the time until my electric bill landed and realised I was paying way too much and not using it enough. So I was hoping a nas drive would be a happy medium as in will stay on all the time with access to it when I want to (via ps3 and I was hoping ATV) and not...

I have a flocked dash. I've butchered said dash and got fibreglass and resin over some of it. ​if I wanted to get it redone, would they go over the flock that's already there, or would the strip the lot and start again?

The gauge is on the standard clocks, its calibrated for the Renault ecu (not using the renault ecu) and cts. I don't know which cables going into the clocks control the gauge anyway. so plan was as there's a cts for the omex to know coolant temp for mapping and engine fan control I was thinking...
