It is, both the maxi and Elia kits need new inner arches made, track extention, lowering ​its a lot of work for a look that's quite outdated now. Having said that a maxi does look awesome!

You can get an Elia kit. It's fibreglass though as is the maxi replica kit iirc. ​ edit: is that kingys old car? Recognise the wheels in the background

What about a spend limit on the car? if someone can work out what it would cost to get a car up to scratch, add x amount ontop for random bits and bobs. Then have a spend limit over the course of a year? ​tough to police but keeps costs down.

Spring compressors and yes a breaker bar. Probably a few swan neck scanners too (21mm or 22mm I can't remember)

I'd suggest you ring omex and speak to them. They're always very very helpful when I've rung them

Same here! showed the slightest interest in buying the focus st, asked me am I over 21? Threw me the keys. I came back with a massive grin on my face wanting to buy the car. Renault wanted me to commit to part exing my old car before considering letting me sit in the Clio I was looking at! ​

But it's less than half the price of the next option. ​i understand you can't put a price on a potential respray but even if it gives you some sort of idea it's better than nothing?
