Guess what I also saw that car, it was in a better state in June though!

I claimed on house insurance for my iPhone that got stolen, cost £50 excess same as you and the premium went up by about a fiver! So definitely worth it... only thing is it did take like 2 months to get it, which was very annoying.

Had the car almost a year but have £1,250 to spunk on it within the next couple of months :D

Oh yeah I've seen the Gordini one, just a few roads away from me. I do like it but the blue on the wheels is awful imo. Yup mine's basically totally standard from the outside! Mods coming in a couple of months time though :) Get yourself along to the Renaultsport track day in Kent in October...

It was fun when I was 20 and bodykits were all the rage! But don't get me wrong, I wouldn't go there again... I bought it like that btw, apart from the wheels. The only kit a CRX should have is a Mugen one :evil:

£550 was repair of front bumper (spilt after hitting a tree @ 3mph, don't ask!) repair of rear bumper (had dropped and cracked a bit where it attaches to main body) complete outside respray (in case Daniel gets funny) although that did include inside the doors and boot... in Subaru WR blue...

Prove it? It was fine... I was working at various boatyards when he sprayed my car, and ended up helping the guy get a contract spraying boats at Port Medway Marina :) some where worth over £250,000 would they really let someone that was s**t at their job do that?

My idea was kinda to match it up to the interior lighting... if I done it again I'd probably go red though.

To be honest this is turning into a 'Look how much I'm prepared to spend on a paint job' thread... pretty silly. Bargains can be had, as others as backed me up on. I was completely satisfied with my £550 paint job, it seems other people either don't believe it, or are getting annoyed by it, lol...

I never had any problems with my paint job :) maybe it wasn't the best in the world to a trained eye (my eye isn't trained, lol, so it looked perfect to me) I found one smudge mark on the car and took it back and he sprayed that panel for free. Maybe you're the one being 'had'!

Looks real good, sits perfectly! Where did you get the wheel ramps from? Do you think they're better than a jack? Must admit I fancy getting some of those...

No he didn't bother with that... I didn't see any signs of the original colour apart from under the bonnet. At the end of the day I'd rather do it my way and save £1,500 :) each to their own! The car was only worth £2,500 so sod spending nearly the same again on a paint job.

Why do you need to take the interior out? Genuine question... unless you're going for a complete bare shell respray lets be honest how many people bother with that? I'm sure you could pick faults but at the end of the day it's a cat-D 1.2, does he want the best paint job in the world for mega...

:lolup: I paid £550 for a complete respray in a new colour... including bumper repairs to the front and rear. Shopping around is the key!

Wheels look amazing! Are they standard anthracite? Look darker.

As far as I can remember there is no bulb... maybe take the clocks apart and see if the connection has come loose or something. With mine the screw holding on the plastic behind it wasn't in properly and it wasn't displaying all the numbers.

Washed, polished, brought the black trim back to life and made the tyres gleam... what else you gonna do with the only day in July it hasn't rained!

Okay had a whack last night the proper way... s**t it after about ten minutes lol. Quit out, I wanna play this with someone else around :dead: I think it's knowing other people said it was scary, my heart was beating fast the entire time!

What were they thinking of with the new fog lights on the new Twingo! They should have cut them down half into a semi-circle and had them stop in line with the black grill on the bumper. Love your LY :) though would have to be anthracite wheels for me...

Did you happen to see what equipment they were using to do this?

I also snapped two! Very annoying, why can't they just use bolts...
