Not at all. As said, the rc5 did, squealed a lot, threw up epic dust, rattled like f**k. These don't, a bit of dust (same as ds2500), no squeal (got more squeal from my 2500's). They rattle when on/off the brakes at parking speed, but nowhere else. And, they bite when cold, more so than...

I was a ds2500 user on all my clio's until I tried the rc5+.

I hate the old CL's. But I'm using the the updated version, very good for road and track. They squeal or kick out lots of dust.

End of the day, handling's a very subjective thing. I didn't like the AST set-up, but I'm in the minority. I'm sure there are people out there that don't get on with H&R/KW etc. They may have stumbled across a good set-up with these.

Amen. I've gone past several quicker cars on track. Mainly because I've got a bit of experience, I don't mind if I go off, and I know my car inside out. Not caring too much about the car is worth a fair chunk of time on track!

I think I've been freakishly lucky with my heap. 85k miles, numerous track days, and f**k all rattles. But, having taken a few interiors apart, the Ph1's do seem a bit more solid in a few area's, like the steering cowl being screwed together rather than wobbly clips.

There are 2 ph1 cats, twin lambda and single lambda. Make sure you get the correct one for your exhaust, the single lambda one is shorter.

Just a quick pick from today. Since last updated, now has new wheels (for now), KW V2's, Whiteline rear ARB, and a cf splitter. Sorted a mysterious misfire (lambda), so shall be booking another track session soon.
