Comercial Vehicles are expensive, unless you go to Footman James, HIC, basically specialist insurance. Autonet Van Insurance is the cheapest for me with a Caddy Pickup :) looked at Mk2 Caddy Vans? (based on Polo 6n) can pick them up for £800 and have the TDI from the golfs, so tuneable etc ;)

i know Apple have a higher level of customer service than usual, but it wouldnt take much for someone to not be bothered with a repair and just say "its broke". a repair might even work out much more expensive.
