just went into the Apple shop (booked a Genius appointment before hand online). Went in, saw a genius, he put my details in and said that as i hadn't claimed on the warranty that they would give me a replacement :)

i used to have a T-Mobile SIM only plan, £15/month (rolling monthly too, so like a 1 month plan, can get out whenever) had unlimited (2000) mins, unlimited (2000) texts and 4Gb data (think its now 500mb). I went to it after my contract ran out before i got the 4. Was a standard plan, so i'm sure...

service providers cant do anything on the price of Apple items, as with iPods, very little difference in price. its one of the ways Apple controls the market

nearly. Apple gave me a replacement in the end. dropped phone, screen smashed (still worked!), rang up insurance, they covered accidental, would give me new handset but £30 excess. went to apple shop on the off chance, free replacement as it was in warrenty and i hadnt already claimed.

mine is covered by my bank. cheaper and more cover. (£2k worth). They would pay money or a replacement handset. £30 excess. service provider is worst option.

if iOS5 runs well and has some nice updates then it will distract me from wanting a 4S... as i already have a 4 (replaced under warrenty a month ago, so its still brand new too....). i dont have the money spare at the moment anyway. then i can get a 5 next year....

When ur using a company that is usually industrial, it's best to go with someone who has had experience, others might be cheaper, but you end up with something not so good. Make sure you agree a price and timescale first Mate is still waiting for a casting to be machined a year on... Cheap...
