ok ill see if i can get a pic of both of them now.
edit:
clio on the right, meg on the left...
and the mounts as you can see here...
clio on the bottom
the clio rail has the mounting points more towards the end of the rail where the F7R rail is closer to the middle.
i could probably mount it with some brackets but im unsure wether that would be advisable?
so the clio rail fits with regards to injector positions but it wont mount onto the standard head bolt mounts...
is it safe to assume i can make some brackets to fit the clio rail or am i being a bit fick there?
yes but i them also have a catD/catC on my hands...
so far ive had sky and brentacre quotes, not even been on a comparison site as i fear i would be completley wasting my time
i understand that but with the car worth about £1500 roughly then thats all i would get paid should i wreck it. now in the grand scheme of things thats pennys compared to what ive spent on it so its obviously not gonna be much of a help and then id have to buy the car back to sell bits off it to...
That's the thing I don't want, the insurance determining its a write off because I cracked a bumper.
If it was tpft I just get a new bumper spray it up and it's job done, if it was FC I'd get it written off have to get it vic checked etc and come the time I may sell it it's worth jack...
This is my confusion. I've always insured FC but thinking about how little my car is actually worth minus all the work Ive done to it I'm beginning to think I'm wasting my money (if it is more expensive for FC)
But according to the guy on the phone of I smash it then the insurance company own it if it's a write off I get hardly anything because the cars true value is not a lot and if u want the car back I have to buy it back. Whereas if it was tpft I can just take it home and fix it, or if I've done a...
Right I have a mk1 megane worth roughly £1500-£2000 if I'm lucky with a 2.0 16v turbo engine in it (previously 1.6 16v) so its obviously had a lot of money spent on it, and I've just been getting quotes to insure it.
Whilst talking to sky insurance the guy on the phone suggested I go for TPFT...
i think this is the right section but can someone do a photoshop on this picture for me please...

just for evryone elses information admiral and any other company associated with EUI limited DO NOT insure any engine conversions that isnt like for like.
so going on the quote this guy received on a multicar (being as the only true multicar providers are admiral) policy they dont know its been...
having a good laugh with this!
im out, pc is on. misses is in the living room watching tv when suddenly the computer turns on and says its watching her
N/A tuning is as much about flow as it is about volume tho so it doesnt matter...
if you put a bigger TB on the RS2 youd probably get better results, just like you get better results with 4 indipendant throttle bodies.
so whats the problem?
all i see there is a very very impressive torque...
yeah but the way they have worded things leaves a lot of things open to interpretation.
and LOL at people changing steering wheels for an MOT!
along with the decat, hid's, and other illegal things you have on your car that will fail!
its getting to the point where you might aswell change the...
looking at all these new rules i can see vosa getting a lot more complaints about failed mot's coming up.
there is far too many loopholes in the wording of some of these items!
