    coil overs

As above, Fred's based in Birmingham, worth the trip for fitting.

    coil overs

Neither of those is adjustable, fixed damping for both? Most kits aren't camber adjustable as standard, getting tracking done etc is essential after fitting. Weitec are a subsiduary of KW iirc, so shouldn't be bad. Good reviews of vmaxx as well, so shouldn't go too far wrong with either.

IIRC streamline to carbon fibre replacments.

    recaro sportster cs

Re-use the original belts. You can put harnesses etc in, but not a great idea without a cage.
  5. ForceIndia

    recaro sportster cs

Brand new, could get them for under £900 all in. Doddle to fit as well.

    recaro sportster cs

Nope, they use their own subframe, much lower.

    Jamies old clio

    Looked well @ Oulton

Plenty of better options. Momo, Cobra all do reclining seats.

cLIO 172 - New Steering wheel

Afaik it can't be done with the airbag, different wiring on the newer cars. Is it a ph1 or2?

    recaro sportster cs

Waste of cash. They look nice, but don't sit you low enough, and aren't supportive. The Recaro's re-use the renault subframe, so they'll never be low enough.

RenaultSport Clios - great on the right road, rubbish the rest of the time. Discuss

Re: RenaultSport Clios - great on the right road, rubbish the rest of the time. Discu Horses for courses. For my needs, there's nothing else I can think of that would suit so well. 20k+ miles a yr, 35mpg, bugger all running costs, but still quick and fun on track. Build quality really isn't...

RenaultSport Clios - great on the right road, rubbish the rest of the time. Discuss

Re: RenaultSport Clios - great on the right road, rubbish the rest of the time. Discu I've done about 700miles in mine this week. Enjoyed all of them.

    It's f**king horrible. Instant chav.

    Under seat / Slimline Sub

I've got an Alpine one at home, I've not checked if it'll fit under my seats yet. If not, you can have it fella. Purchased off the Scottish Jew.

    Slicks (R888) on a standard 197

If you're happy with the handling balance of the car, but just wanna go faster, sort the tyres. If you want to change the balance, alter the suspension.

RS day at Oulton Park - video

Doubt it. Mine is strong enough to mount the camera on the exterior, and accidentally t**t a lamppost without it falling off:o.

RS day at Oulton Park - video

I've got a mount stuck to the dash. It's not a suction mount.

RS day at Oulton Park - video

Yep. Explicitly told I wouldn't be allowed on with a suction mount.
  20. ForceIndia

RS day at Oulton Park - video

Very silly IMO. Mines now stuck to the dash with a sticky pad, which is somehow meant to be stronger than a suction mount I could hang off!

RS day at Oulton Park - video

For some reason they've got a lot stricter about suction mounts, no idea why!

    200 v 200cup

Clever. All cars with reach adjustment, plainly excessive. Well done.

    200 v 200cup

I couldn't have a cup if I'm honest. The driving position doesn't suit me, the reach adjustment makes a big improvment IMO.

Where does the 182 gain the 10PS over the 172?

Reading fail. I said it was pure luck on the 182. Not only the 182.
  25. ForceIndia

    200 v 200cup

Still lacking imo. Power delivery and steering probably being the biggest problems. But we've been here before lol. Probably the main reason I'd go for a cup'd 200 would be the quicker rack.

    Apex Springs and Offset

Better off waiting for decent stuff imo. Apex are shocking.
