So, after getting the odd £500 offer I’ve decided to try and fix the car. I’ve ordered a head off eBay and will then be getting it skimmed and all that shizzle and hopefully get the thing back on the road in the next couple of months.

Looks like the volvo ‘bent a valve’ so will be a head off job. I’m trying to punt it for £1250 as is but it’s proving a challenge!

I think as a daily driver they’re too fragile body wise now and you’ve already got a few garage queens. Mega motor though.

You can pick engines up for £300 - £500 BUT then it needs fitting etc. I’m in two minds at the moment.
