I was up there on Sunday cycling. It's a brilliant road, not taken the clio up there yet but I will at some point. I was gobsmacked when I saw the speed limit signs though!

Did you not read the part where I said I can do several 2-3 mile journeys a day through town which would be stop/start? I managed 40+MPG the other day on a 150 mile round trip. My driving is rarely long trips so I don't expect incredible MPG. My focus dropped from 29mpg to 22mpg when I moved jobs.

Of course price is relevant otherwise I'd have a brand new focus RS and not a 2 year old clio 200t? The more a car costs the higher the monthly payments which people do care about.

From what I've read, most of the remaps cause a warning message to pop up. There's a guy on clio200.net whose running around 240bhp I think it was and he's not had any issues at all. His was done by RS tuning in leeds.

Is it kind of like a crashing sound? I think there's been issues with bushes on the mk4

63 plate Clio 200t LUX

I can see where the criticism for the 200 box comes from as I've found it a bit clumsy at times in auto mode. When in race mode I find it fine when giving the car a bit of a kicking. I've not driven any other auto cars so couldn't compare with other boxes.

Can't say I've noticed a massive delay. I never think when driving "I wish it would shift quicker" sport and race seem fast enough for me

That's LOTS of town driving mind. For reference my focus st with 260bhp was getting around 23-24mpg. On the motorway the clio is into the high 30's/low 40's.

I've had it for around 4 weeks now. Currently on 27.1mpg with lots of town driving. For town I'll leave it in auto, otherwise I put it in sport mode and manual. I love it on the country roads but I do miss the torque of the ST. No regrets with buying the car so far!

Definitely get a drive in one first. I had concerns about the gearbox but when I drove it I really didn't see any problems with it.

Compared to my focus it's very stiff but I wouldn't say uncomfortable. Used it on some country roads today and it was great fun.

4 doors is lovely tbh, much better then getting out to let people in. Yes, I've still got around 2 years warranty left on it. Will pm you price etc.

It had the mountune mp260 package on it. I'm pretty sure that if both cars were side by side, the focus would pull away though lol. If I get the clio mapped then possibly similar pace due to the weight difference.
