They're sneaky b******s when it comes to renew though. It seems they take last years price, chuck an extra couple of hundred on and hope you don't bother getting another quote. They've done it every year so far to me and every year I get a new quote off their website and it's always loads less...

If by 'drive belt' you mean the alternator/aircon belt then it's the same thing. If it was recently changed I'd look at doing up the tensioner.

There's one of these for sale localy. Only has 100 miles on it, bloke bought it and decided he didn't like it :cry: alright if you can aint it.

Mine was a constant whine when the tensioner pulley went. This just sounds like the belt has stretched and the tensioner needs tightening. Service interval for aux belt is 3 years or 36k.

You say that, but it's working, as here we are discussing it. So from a marketing point of view, it's working.

I noticed that when I fitted my race seat to my race car E30. Sitting there trying to line it up and everything seems to be in a random place, but it seems to work. Looks good :race: Looking forward to getting mine out in the summer :cool:
