Anyone good at reading/diagnosing from Live data? LONG TERM (-20%) and SHORT TERM (flutcuates betwen -8 and -18%) fuel trims are quite hefty minus figures - does this mean it’s running rich, which in turn can cause a lumpy idle? So far its had: - new MAP sensor - new coolant temperature...

Considered changing injectors but conscious of not throwing the parts cannon at it to be honest! Are OBD diagnostics easily available to pinpont any issues?

Eg mats, boot net, spare oil bag in blue? Tool kit? Interested to know what came included with the car as standard! If anything actually came with it haha

Its not cutting out or anything just “surges” a bit on idle. I can’t recall from my old one whether its normal or not!

172 Cup - runs very well. Cambelt done under 2 years ago so not due. Idle becomes lumpy maybe a minute after cold start. I know they are fairly lumpy but what diagnostic procedure should I follow rather than firing a parts cannon at it? 😁 Its no biggie as it drives superb but wouldnt mind...

They are great but I prefer my M5 as a suoer saloon platform. Bs7 was pretty expensive to repair but as long as you fine one where the usual common faults have been rectified…unlike mine! I ended up in a mk4 R32 after it as I missed a hot hatch!

Just wondering if anyone on here now owns by old car - she was a 2002 black 172 with 182 wheels. Reg was RY02 VVX. Traded it in January for a '07 Civic Type R to a garage in Tredegar then I think they passed it to a garage in Blackwood. Cliosport.net sticker left in the back window :) Cheers.
