Never been a huge fan of these. Those engines are horrendously thirsty and also slow! I’ll stick to the red blocks and the smokers.

I don’t think many on here would be that bothered. My old one was on chopped springs and I managed to survive. A miracle I know, but it didn’t kill me. I guess we’ll just have to see what happens.

Changed the fuel filter on the green one as it was running s**t. Turns out it’s running some additional aftermarket pump as well. It was still running s**t so I filled it up with diesel and it’s now running a lot better. Must just have to keep the thing above half a tank!

I think you’d get a lot better for £3000. I’d personally go for something with an interior and some good suspension. Ripping the seats out makes f**k all difference and just makes the car harder to sell (unless youre after a dedicated track car that is). The more original ish cars are holding...

Who did the belts would be my question. Does he have an invoice? Was the depahser done? What’s the paintwork like? To me that’s a £2000 car with some orange paint on it.

Out in the 740 today. It’s longer than the vxr8 which surprised me! Still managed to get it in the garage though.

It’s not the tank, it’s the fuel filler people they’ve chopped. Sold it anyway so should be going tomorrow.

I buy and sell a lot and the one thing that makes a car difficult to sell (in my experience) is high mileage. You’ve either got to get the car a fit bit cheaper or plan for long term ownership. That’s my two Penneth worth anyway.

Picked up some new wheels for the 740. Massive offset issues but I think with some 6ft spacers it could look ok.

Im just trying to work out how to spend more money on it.

Plus it’s only a Vauxhall badge. The rest of the car is a Holden. I’m not sure that’s much better...
