join the club clapshot mate, mine is due in a week or two, got a williams as well though.
phil, must be a pants driver then your mate. well see anyway, mine will be up the strip before its barely got a mile on it. i can get 14.8 out of my virtually standard williams
it depends what years the cars are, or should i say when they were manufactured. theres three types of vts/gti, all the respective years are a perfectly even match apart from the driver
early ones 120 bhp
later ones, by this i dont mean all mk2 etc 130bhp.
latest(mine) somewhere inbetween...
fred, your on about the EK-9 ctr, a car i was dying to import last year but the cost to buy and insure was too much. theres two versions, one crappy interior one but with that work of art engine (185 bhp 1.6, the spec sheet is awesome). the other with type r red buckets, fancy gear nob and air...

problem with the 172 traction control............its w**k! for setting off anyway, its not a launch control, it just bogs you down at the slightest hint of a fast set off, its best turned off for a quick start and rely on good old driver ability.

ill more than likely be running the sax altough with a cliosport sticker fitted:D, that is of course unless someone gives me a gearbox and clutch for a williams. be good time to settle those grudge matches hehe
vts vs 16v
blown vtr vs 172 & turbo 16v
or maybe even turbo172? vs turbo 16v...
stumped again there mate cos the 106 and vts have taller gears than a valver, as ben h has said they just seem to be physics defyingly fast for some reason
