    May not of been tightened up properly, that ain't how it left the factory though, exhaust must of been chopped at some point. Yeah, AA / RAC would sort it for you.

    Undo the clamp, 2 x bolts. Seal it up and slide it together and tighten, should be all good then. Just make sure it's all square etc.

    Cambelt kit every 5 years or 72k, aux belt kit 36k or 3 years (depending who you talk to) could be a number of things though! Really needs checking out.

    I would test drive after replacing a pas pipe on a 1*2, make sure it had no rattles from heat shields etc depending where it was. Wouldn't be thrashing though, more of a pipe and slippers man! :p

    Car? Not uncommon for the squeak shim to touch the disc if there a bit bent.

    I have seen people nut and bolt the lower rear shocker if the threads have been damaged etc? Occasionally they will snap! Had it happen once to me! Maybe that? You shouldn't require them though IMO. :)
