Can I be picky and point out that the 182 was never made in iceburg. Only inferno and RB. The 182 with cup packs was in titanium silver (I think)

Er, no. You have to saw it off. Saw through the leatherette part, and you'll see a white plastic bit mounted to the shaft. Saw that off as well. It's a fucker, but worthwhile IMO.

That second one looks awful. The mesh grill is poorly done, the splitter's horrific and the bumper doesn't seem to fit close enough to the bonnet? Good to drive, hate the interior (fisher price styleeeee), just couldn't live with the looks.

The 1*2's could outbrake a 996 carrera, nothing wrong with them, just the 197's are better.

Total £170 ish.

Driven both, lots. The 182 is the better drivers car, no doubt. But the mini is better built. I went for the 182 because it gives better mpg, is faster and handles better. And most blokes look like c**t estate agents driving a mini.

Mines awesome! Brings the wheel to a far more comfy position. You can either get spacers or a dished wheel. I went for a dish, reason being the airbag obviously has to go. The dished wheel means the hard bits are further away lol.

If it sell's, an R26. If not I'll keep it, then spend some cash for 190ish bhp. Not unhappy with the car, just got a good chance of a decent meg, low miles, sensible price.

Money no object, FF182. But not worth the extra cash over a 172. For the same cash you could get a mint 172, in a decent colour, and coilovers.

Until the dealers are capable of dealing with the expectations of RS customers, I'll always be unhappy about going in. Sadly my next RS will have warranty, so I might not get a choice!

I take all the JD power results with a pinch of salt. The expectation levels of someone buying a 25k BMW will be far higher than someone buying a 10k Renault. The BMW see's any problem with the car as a bigger let-down than the Renault owner.

I think you'd be mad. The old boy pays £500 on an AMV8 and still thinks its too much. Regardless of wether it's affordable or not, it's effectively like burning money.
