Awesome, just need to get out tonight with it being clear. It's a 45 min drive there to where i need to be. Might as well go out with it being clear and get some practice in and have a look around there see what's there and get some ideas and maybe next time get some better ones with it not...

@Aaron.. Will the almost full moon give off extra light in the sky as well as foreground? So doing a milky way shot at full moon isn't as good being a full moon?

This Lens Any Good For Internal Room Photos

Lens distortion is like when the image bends at the sides, like when you bend a piece of paper from both sides. Here's a video it gives you an idea what i mean I've never used an external flash and practically never used my internal flash so can't really comment. What you don't want is too...

This Lens Any Good For Internal Room Photos

Yeah i was thinking possible lens distortion too or even vignetting? As Aaron said you can get rid of it in photoshop but on Elements you can't. If you haven't got a flash you could use a large reflector to redirect light where you want it. When doing interiors always use a tripod to get...

    Learning Photography

I had my DSLR for years and not knowing how to use it. I started a small class learning the very basics like ISO aperture and shutter. Then onto leading lines and composition and so on. Did this once a week for 3 months. This was just a local guy who's been doing this for years and it costed...

I've got the same camera but haven't got a super zoom just the 24-105mm, dredz wanted a zoom lens and he's got the 55-250mm and a few on here mentioned it. I haven't done motorsport and i think 55-250 will certainly get you going for the price just over £100 is a bargain...

Alright, if you click on the picture it will take you to Flickr where it will show a bigger image. Yeah i took it in colour and it was majority blue sky but the little cloud just above and over the horizon. I used a CPL and a ND4 iirc, the colour isn't that spectacular that's why i converted to B&W

thanks, have to admit that i just looked back, majority of the time you tend to focus what's in front of you and a lot of the time now i look pretty much 360o sometimes the best shot is what's behind you.
