My flat mate has the PS3 still, and i think my newphew has my old games. I'll be popping round in a few days and i'll ask if i can borrow it. Ooooft @Liam.
Been on BF4 too lately and i'm no slouch on it with not being on for near a year
Had a visit to Bristol the other day for a few days to see a mate. A bunch of us went along. We went to The Cheddar Gorge and the City Centre. I didn't get the opportunity to go to the places at best light so i had to make do when i arrived.

My contract ran out on my HTC One M7 iirc, had it for 2 and a half years now. Still going strong. Just rang up just now and got my bill reduced from £24 to £14 with 3GB data and unlimited calls and texts that's with the 40% Friends and Family discount. Not going to get a new phone until...
What's the Downs? I've seen a pic of the Gorge with the reservoir in the background, i'm after a shot like that. When you get there where's best to park up and best angle and side of the gorge?
edit,, ust googled it and there's a park i noticed and a long line of trees side by side. That cold...
I noticed there's 2 bridges at bristol and i looked on things to do in bristol and noticed that Clifton bridge, where abouts is it? I'm making a list of places to visit and one of them is Cheddar Gorge. I'm not driving and with mates so be limited on when, where, time i have.
That bridge does...
Had pop down to Low Force Waterfall for the first time yesterday. Took a feir few good shots but it was poor light sun was out all day. Loads of different angles to be had there. Be defo going when there's more cloud or sunset shot. It's an hour drive to get there too.

I'm off down Bristol for a few days, any of you lot been there off any spots to take photo's most likely day shots and might be lucky for sun set shots. Going down with mates to see a mate there and they got no patience for photography
Yeah i totally forgot to put it in Live View, i do normally use it but it was late lol. I did realise when i was back in bed about the live view but didn't get back out to take more shots. I suppose i know for next time i do some more moon shots.
Thanks anyway for the reminder
fucken hell 5000, been at the moon shots 3 times now and majority of the shots are out of focus on the Bloodmoon ones. Once i've zoomed in it looses the detail. There's one or 2 are in detail but there a bit dark as i didn't do a longer exposure.
I woke up strangley enough about 02:45 with no alarm. Maybe the moon was shouting at me lol. I did take some test shots before hand too just the moon on it's own at about 147mm at cropped sensor. The ones later the moon was way Bigger when it was just rising from the East. Would of liked it...
Looked at the forecast looks to be getting more cloudy around the time of the eclipse. Still going to pop out around durham for some inspiration before hand.
Thinking of popping out in the morning for my first Sunrise. Going to the coast i think for that, not sure where most likely Seaham
Also one more thing, when taking pics of sunsets and sunrises where do i put the focus in the centre? to get the forground and sky both properly exposed. So the sky isn't over exposed and can bring back the shadows in the bottom. or do 2 exposures one for the bottom and one for the top. All i...
I'll have a pop out around 22:00 area and have a test shots see how big the moon will be and where it's located in the sky. I don't want to zoom in on the moon, i wan't it to be the same size just want the moon and the scene to be both properly exposed.
2 separate shots it is then
Any of you lot doing the Moon in the morning? I'm going to do a pic with the Moon and the Durham Cathedral in it and other forground interest in it. Is it better to take a shot for the foreground and another pic just for the moon? I expect the moon will be just a dot if i took a normal shot of...
Really nice looking wedding cake that. I'd be very pleased to get that. Could try and do some blurry backgrounds like at f3.5 on your kit lens iirc if doing close up shots.
To The Horizon - Easington Beach by Mark Geddes, on Flickr
Had a little trip with my new replacement filters last night to Easington Beach. Went to a bit where i never been before loads of rocks and struggled to stand and got near dark but the sky was really canny really nice colour. Need some...
I popped in the local photography shop and i get on ok ish with the people in there even though been in just a hand full of times. I showed them some pics of my memory stick. He says a few of them are nothing special and some of them aren't sharp enough front to back. I agree some weren't that...
Thanks, i couldn't get rid of the halo ish effect on the hills. I know you can get rid of it on Lightroom, there's a button just for that iirc.
They was an even better sunset than this day or two after. My mate just drove and i didn't get a chance to stop and take pics :( lots of good shots...
I sent 2 or 3 images to Practical Photography magazine couple months ago. Out of the blue this morning they emailed me wanting more info on me and my picture. I replied back with the info and they replied back saying looks like it's going to be published in January's edition.
Not bad at all for...
