    172 cambelt

I think the bumper off makes it easier to change, but I just want to have a look really.

    Crashed pics London Area!!

Looks nasty. Love the cadence braking heroes that deny ABS can help. Least it looks like the driver should of been ok.

    172 cambelt

Cars started making a whining noise, from the general belts area. Had a look at the aux belt idler pulley, seems fine, no play in it. Was going to have a look at the cambelt, to see if I can spot a visible problem. Am I right that to get access it's 1 Jack drivers side up 2 Remove wheel 3 Remove...

Evo MR recaros - Real name?

The standard trendlines need a subframe that then mounts onto the original frame on your current seats, so I'd imagine you will need new subframes. I'm sure someone fitted evo seats to a clio on here, might be worth having a search.

Are the subframes from the evo?

Evo MR recaros - Real name?

TBF he'll probably know more than me! Either way they are a cracking seat, they'll look very nice in a 182.

Evo MR recaros - Real name?

Not trendlines fella, on all trendlines the lower (rib) bolsters appear larger than the shoulder bolsters, the opposite of the pics you've put up. As said, they are based on the recaro speed, but unique to the Evo IIRC. Still lovely seats, I'd just check that they don't have unique fittings that...

Evo MR recaros - Real name?

+1, fair bit cheaper than the Trendlines.

    Photographing strangers

I don't like having my picture taken at the best of times, think I'd kick off if I caught someone doing it without asking.

Apex Springs to H&R Coilovers (Pics)

Exactly, the springs are too stiff for the dampers, so it pogo's everywhere.

    Some TVR & Exige Pics.

Love the Trevor, but prefer the Exige in that colour. Lovely.

    NW Christmas Meet Pics!

f**k off big ears. I knew young Riz when he was a lowly pre-reg (ie paid less than reception staff), and spent all his days nervously asking patients to "follow me through". The whitest asian on the planet IIRC.

few pics of the low fat spread..197.

I think Riz was talking about a 3/4 size plate, but no point on the 197, the number plate space is full size, so extends lower (you can see it on pic7)

    Nicest 197 I've seen.

    Respray quote (I lol'd, hard)

I can't be arsed at the moment. Has a certain charm, being filthy, and multi-coloured. Bet the porka driver at Oulton was even more pissed off that a pos was hassling him.

    Respray quote (I lol'd, hard)

I've had several quotes (from some very reputable firms) all of which were roughly half this price.

    Respray quote (I lol'd, hard)

I am (eventually), but not viper green as planned. Saw a celica, viper green, black wheels. Looked chavvy as hell. I've got £x set aside for the car, and I think the engine will take up a chunk getting fixed.

Best fuel? BP Ultimate, Tesco 99 or Shell v-power

Tesco's and Sainsbury's tend to get there fuel from Shell, BP etc

Best fuel? BP Ultimate, Tesco 99 or Shell v-power

V-power, the only one that I've seen evidence of the cleaning properties. If they put the same cleaning additives in normal ron I'd use that.

Apex Springs to H&R Coilovers (Pics)

I preferred pro's and sport's to standard. Apex were torture. Poorly riding and handling.

36K Service and Donny Track Testing

Started whining from drivers side engine. Check the aux belt idler, seems ok (no play in it). Worst time for it to happen, got loads of work 80 odd miles away in Jan.

Good stuff, I'm just desperate to get my car in ASAP, buggered without it.

Just emailed them to see when they can fit my sick car in, looks like a good set-up.

Apex Springs to H&R Coilovers (Pics)

Not IMO. Would rather drive a standard car than one on Apex, think most who've used them would agree.

Nice upgrade, apex are awful IMO.

When do things start going wrong?

All down to luck. I'm on my 5th RS, just about to get the first big(-ish) bill. They are like any car, get a munter and it'll be a nightmare.
