Apple have always been about clever marketing and pushing people into expensive upgrades. This is just another example of that. It amazes me that they're as popular as they are to be honest. Just demonstrates the power of marketing. I doubt this story will have much impact on them.

I bought one in the group buy and had no problems. Ended up selling it on though, as my plans changed. It's not the cheapest thing in the world but, given the fact it's made in relatively small numbers, it's no great surprise.

I fitted an induction kit and blanked off the factory recirc. valve. It's certainly not subtle.

Yeah a lot of them have the time to do the content because they don't need a proper job. I see that a lot in car journalism too. A lot of them have money anyway so can spend their time making YouTube videos.
