iv gone from a 16v to williams track, and altho the lack of power steering is still taking some getting used to, it does feel very good on the corners, especially high speed sweeping ones, feels much more stable!
i weighed about 50+kg i think from removing the rears, seatbelts, speakers, panels, carpet, sound deadening etc!
you will notice a diff, but itll also be louder, more road noise!
equivelant of free power or performance
dead easy mate, all the rear seats, shelf etc just pull out, and the rear plastic panels are only heald on by a few torx screws, and just need some effort to pull it off. same with fronts. iv only got back out at mo, but the whole lot is coming out soon including carpets, tehm rear carpets...
i think one of the main things with a car like the TT clio is on the 1/4 mile or at track when the 350bhp impreza lines up next to it laughting, thinking he is going to win, then gets toasted and it gobsmacked for the rest of the week! same on track! spanking elises, porkas, or owt! nobody...
0-60 is never gonna be a big one with FWD cars! thats the 4x4 boys favourite!
but anything 0-whatever is good with me! prefer from rolling tho, especially against the jap 4x4 turbo barges!

sleepers rule!!
people seem to think they are their only cars! most or all cars like this are purely for fun!
iv read on scoobynet of a bloke in a type RA impreza which are one of the fastest scoobies made, asking what the fuk this orange clio was that blew them away...! top stuff! great...
you could go out and buy a cosworth, but you could also have a cosworth eating clio for fun!
depends what ur after, and how much money you have to play with! I could afford a cossie, but iv got a 200bhp+ clio for fun, track days, 1/4 miling and a normal car for work that i dont have to worry...
happened to my valver, 16 bent valves, and i was virtually not moving when it went!
ideal opportunity for engine work tho! thats what stopped me feeling gutted about it!
always wide to change it every 30k to be on the safe side, and always within 5 years! :)
dont be daft its an M3, it has lots of power and costs stupid amounts more, nothing else matters, (not even the extra 600kg weight)
i think that video must be a 320 badged up. only explanation possible! :p
yeh iv sometimes seen the revs go past the limitor! maybe the rev counter was slightly slow compared to the revs?
yep lots of willy boxes blown, but only cos all the quick 2.0s have em and they get abused to fuk lol!
my old 1.8 blew my 1800 box that had been fully rebuilt 10k since! boooo!!
housing is suppose to be stronger too. im sure when i went from a valver to williams, 5th gear was 500rpm less with the willy compared to the valver!!!
iv got a manual valver, works out expensive for the manual rack etc. steering is quite heavy too but its not that bad! good exercise for the arms ;-)
id get a 2nd hand pump from P mitchel or something with some warranty!
