How come spark plug sockets are a weird size anyway? One I have says 16mm on the side but it's actually more like 21mm. Are Spark Plugs measured differently?
EDIT - Just read its the size across the threads that gives its size, so a 16mm spark plug is 16mm across the threads, nothing to do with...
I'd be very suprised if any Renault dealers kept this in stock. They don't even keep stabiliser links in stock at any dealers near me, all special order. Usually here next day though if you order early enough.

I have to agree, the mk4's can easily see 180bhp with very little cost and will still return 40+mpg all day long. Having said that, they still handle like a boat unless you throw cash at the suspension!
A mapped one should easily see off a Fiesta ST
Nothing wrong with it, just a different beast to the Astra that's all!
I owned a 1.4 Auto Clio (briefly, it was a money making exercise. Given it for free, sold for £1,100!) It was a great little motor!
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
I know it's my car, so I would say this but I think it's worth a lot more than 5.5k. I can't find any r27's anywhere near that price, even ones with 80k on the clock. The seats aren't worn enough to warrant any reconditioning, it's a slight worn patch, no...
How on earth did they run into you by stalling!?!
Have you opened the boot yet? This happened to me a few years back, I didn't check it out for a few days and the boot wouldn't close after I'd opened it! Bit of hammering and stuff soon sorted it out!
ps, this was on an old megane coupe I had...
Compared to a 1.2 clio, it'll be great. yes some people will tell you it's boring, or slow but it's all relative.
I've you have been driving 'fast' cars for a while then the Astra will feel like a step backward, however if you have only ever had a 1.2 clio it will be a great leap forward.

No point spending money if there is nothing wrong IMO.
If it's not due a belt, and the dephaser isn't noisy why go to the expense of £500+ to change soemthing that isn't faulty? I'd leave it until the next belt change TBH
Take it to a reputable A/C specialist and get them to test it. £20 to diagnose it if faulty or £50 to recover the contents and refil with correct qty.
I had mine done recently at www.autokool.co.uk Excellent service.
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***

They have one from the factory, which is made very much worse by a decat.
Yes. the belt is due this year (depending on when it was registered I suppose, sept onwards) Thats going to set you back £450ish so is definately a bartering point.
Yes, you can pick up something with Recaros and the...
