Another fun day on the Volvo today fitting the new clutch and single mass flywheel. Big thanks to @craigyt for all his efforts as always! She fought us all the way but in the end it got done. Also fitted some chips that advance the timing and remove the boost cut and it's now running at 18psi...

Mileage is a killer. When I was looking only cars under 80k commanded that money. Looks great though!

Never really looked into it but the dual mass is a bit fragile so this is a logical upgrade.

Plus I got some stickers.

Im going from dual mass to single. Standard set up is good for around 230bhp and my clutch was slipping. This set up which uses the 850r clutch should be Ok for 350. I can't see me running more power than that anytime soon.

Evo was about 350bhp and was fast but when it's rolling it's great. Evo was a different league through the bends though - the vx is a barge in comparison.

Hard to say. I can't put any power down from a standing start in this thing as it tends to just want to go sideways. From 60mph plus this thing is in a different league to anything I've owned.

I was quite impressed! That's mixed driving. If I was just on the school run it would be around 9mpgbut when you're on a bit of a run it's not too bad. It's probably better than the Volvo!

A couple from a ride out today. Unfortunately, the garage reset my trip when they didn my servic but I estimate I got 230 - 250 miles from a £75 tank of 99 which works out at low 20s mpg.

At least it gives the golf r owners a break.
