After fitting my new front shocks @craigyt and I decided to go take a few shots of the cars. Light was failing so not the best but you get the idea.

New gaz shocks fitted to the front and another quarter coil chopped out. I'm really happy with the ride height now.

Coasting Down hill With the engine off

On my commute (which is 1 mile) I get 9mpg. It took £70 to fill the tank and I've done 230 miles with 20 miles range. That's the first tank so has involved a fair bit of hooning about. On a run you can easily get mid 20s to low 30s but round town its dog s**t.

Also had the dent man out to take out the majority of the dings. Looks so much better now but difficult to show on pictures.

Another session on the Volvo yesterday. Got the new v belts fitted so no embarrassing squealing anymore! Also fitted a new chip which apparently enhances the timing but more importantly removes the boost cut. Last but not least a new turbo hotside from the 850 T5 was fitted so now running a 16t...

Update on ththe vxr8. I got a noise from the belts, similar to a chirping sound! Had a look at the engine and poured water on the aux belt and then noise stopped. While checking I noticed that the bottom crank pulley was wobbling. A google search indicates that this is a problem with the vxr8. I...
