Cheers mate, after i'd stopped sh*tting myself and got use to the track I started to enjoy it, f*cking hilarious fun trying to control a tail happy car through the corners, it really does need a rear ARB though, shat myself a few times.
I'm broken.
What a great weekend, the dog kennel's gearbox didn't explode like I expected, but one of the wheels kept undoing it's nuts and trying to fall off which was a little disturbing, also discovered one of them had snapped, not sure if that happened on track or when I was putting my road...
It hasn't been cleaned in 4 years and seeing as i'm giving passenger laps I thought it was time to chisel the mud off the floor and hoover as much of the dog as the Henry could handle, all it's done it show up all the scrapes and dents the dirt was hiding.
I've only just sat down after a day of cleaning the car and my track alloys, still not totally finished but it was starting to get dark so I had to come in.
I didn't have a receipt, I could only exchange like for like.
We are changing all the brake fluid right, not just bleeding them? It's been in there years.
I'm not at work tomorrow it's gone quiet for a bit so i've been laid off until further notice, which probably means sometime next week, i'll probably just go the Britannia tyres in town, they've done my alignment before but not for a few years.
I already thought of that today, need pads, fluid...
It won't stop raining here, I can't do sh*t to the car, good job I did all the oily stuff over the weekend, all that's left for me to do is clean the thing.
Although the Derv Destroyer has to change my brake fluid, fit the DS2500's, impact gun all my wheel bolts loose so I torque them up by...
The only thing that sobered me up last year was a blast in Sams rocket Clio, that thing could bring you out of a coma.
I just went shopping and got a case of Staropramen, a load of Hobgoblin Golds, shish kebab things, bacon, eggs and Bratwurst in case there's a bit of bother.
I get the feeling the weekend is going to be a bit wet and cold, looks like we might all be in the beer tent Friday night trying to stay warm, I don't suppose there's a CS heater is there just in case?
Today I changed the oil, topped the gearbox up, cleaned the air filter, started cleaning the interior and threw the camo vinyl in the bin after another failed attempt to do the roof again.
I'm going to get some breakdown cover, if it does go bang i'll get someone to tow me off site onto a road...
