Nope, the 182cup wheel is a smaller diameter, I thought it was, no got my tape measure out. Can't remember by how much, but def smaller. Can't be the same wheel, as the thumbgrip bracket is part of the 1*2 wheel IIRC.

182cup wheel is the Dynamique wheel IIRC. Doesn't look as nice, but the smaller diameter and slightly thinner rim make it nicer to use in practice. Plus, as it doesn't have that nasty 'leather that melts', it doesn't get that horrible sticky feeling.

Same wheel bar the buttons. Controversial, but get a 182cup wheel. It's more basic (no thumb grips or fake leather) but it's slightly smaller, and nicer to use IMO.

Current plan. Sell the Trophy and the 172. Buy a ph1 172, ph2 rear end. Coilover's, exhaust, respray (viper green), black 15" f1's. Done.

Would cause vibration on braking though.

Why do people skimp on such important things? It's like any rotating mass, if it's not balanced it will cause vibrations.

As long as your handy with tools, go for a decat for the extra throttle response. But, bear in mind it voids your insurance, so if you have a big prang and they look, you're not covered.

Awesome fella. Had a mini as my first car. And my first crash, which put me off them for life, but still the most fun I've had driving.

+1 As much as I appreciate the effort that goes into the cleaning, just a little bit of effort in taking pics would be nice. It's basically spam to constantly put the same pics up over and over again.

Looks great. If it had a 182cup style spoiler (not the nasty stick on one you can get), and colour coded door handles, would look perfect IMO.

Yep, not had it long, but I can't find a buyer for my 172, and it's stupid having two cars. Best car I've driven, will be sad if it goes. If the Trophy goes first, I'm still going to sell the 172, then buy a ph1 172, coilovers, cams, respray.

Someone's coming to look at the Trophy tonight, gutted. Don't want to sell, but as the 172's not moving don't have much of a choice.

Thats what I'm thinking, especially given the average Trophy/172 buyer.
