I think someone posted that on DW about 6 months ago, trying to wrack my brain. It's a bit like the Gtechniq "dust" they were showcasing. Prototype stuff.
I believe the issue is it cannot survive abrasion yet. The Gtechniq stuff was amazing but you couldn't really touch it with anything. Will...
Shop n shine have a decent range. Web page is nice but not great for quick browsing.
Can anyone looking in here put there name down for Reload samples I'm hoping to send out? You don't get the full effect with the bottle and trigger but you get to see it's performance after application...
Have you tried something like Reload on your car? On silvers and white they really do come up well, even C2V3 for example.
Wax is nice, I love waxing still but it's old school and will never keep the car looking clean nor clean as easily as a sealant for eg. Adam's A3 he said still looks glossy...
Don't forget CarPro discount code either guys in the sticky! Nanolex trim restorer is the best of the rest excluding C4 and dlux.
You literally wasting money and time these days coating decent plastic parts in revive and trim gels. They don't last at all and have a tendency to run and streak if...
Indeed JD, inside and out. Partially a trial also as the car will topped throughout the year with Hydro also.
Adam said the pads were very very dusty so it'll be a great test. Would literally take an hour to Dlux them also if required.
2015 Reload bottle is supposed to be even better again, it'll be used on my next detail so i'll update on here.
C2V3 all jesting aside is a great product, it shocked me how good it was, it lasted, it was so slick, again it could smear if used in a silly fashion and it doesn't look just as...
Thanks dude. I use one of these but air is by far the best thing to dry a car with. Buy a pet dryer for £60 off Ebay/Amazon.
Choose the large one...

Also the CarPro orange Boa towels are so so absorbent! I used one on...
Thanks for all the comments guys, was pretty excited about putting this one up as the finish in the flesh was superb... before the rain came!
I actually agree, it can be requested these days. I personally think some of the paint is that bad these days that OCD people could reject cars or at...
Thanks chaps. I was really happy with the finish, this and spirit blue convinced me these colour are best to detail, great trade off compared with Black.
Hi people! Thanks for looking in on another detailing thread! Thought i'd best grab some images of this one as I knew the paint transform with a decent detail. Not much of a write up, you've seen it all before!
A friend called in a big favour for this one, the R itself was in decent condition...
I hated the mk4 the minute I realised they're still using leftover parts from mk3s on the interior et al.
Oh and the new Golfs are not boring, drive an R and come back and tell me it's boring. They've moved on since the mk4/5... by a long long way!
It's a standalone sealant mate. Requires no top ups etc and so much more forgiving that some other sealants. I cannot comment on total durability sadly.
