If what the chap in the video was correct in his theory, then the timing would jump every time you dropped the clutch off the start line.
Personally I don't think there's any issues with the timing or any other part the engine, I put it down to the characteristics of the RS2 and the SM intake...
The camshaft has an oil feed down it with a drilling at the end which will need to be blocked off or fit a set of non vet cat cams while you're in there
The other giveaway is Jim’s has a drift spec jdm super dildo gearknob too,

I’ve been for a look round Jim’s bmw and say 100% it not been drifted, the previous owner was very safety conscious about the car rolling away when parked up going by the added handbrake :smile:
