yea this is what im worried about lol but it just look so tatty on ?

can i remove the sound deadening from the back of my engine bay ? its a ph1 only reason i ask is because it has heat proof on it so if i take it off whats behind there - i dont want a fire lol also if i can take it off and people have done before how easy is it to remove or is it a case of...
