I think costs will be approx £80 all in, but they'd need painting and some ht bolts to mount the seats. Also they will be cheaper if I can get 10 or so people interested. I've got some pretensioner mounts with my recaros, but the fabricator could easy include something to fix them to. I'll post...
I'm getting some custom ones made up tomorrow that attach to the existing runners. I might setup a group buy if they work ok. Capital seating want £270 all in, fcuk that!
I'm going through a seat fettish, but have made my mind up with the latest purchase. Just need to get some subframe fabricated. No way I'm paying £270 to capital seating for some bits of metal.
All you need really is flat plate going across which would be attached to the bolts on the runners. Obviously the runners are different heights so you'd also need something like a 40mm box section attached to the runner near the door to get the seats level.
I don't see anything wrong it it really, you should have been slowing coming to the roundabout anyway, wasn't like you had to jump on the brakes suddenly.
