Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
looks good mate,
lol at the name dropping....
as keiran confirmed i had my EC1 piggy-backing the original ECU, worked well and was super tidy...
hope all's not to bad, pm me if you like xxx
my notes where on the system from a little while back, i got quoted (as said a little while back) for £164, however it sounds like they have gone up....
its going to be the putting it in that will cost...
boot floor ordered, its on back-order from france,
i have had another idea colour-wise that may mean the bay doesn't need painting, but if i need to remove the engine it won't sway my colour choice
he is a very good mate, he will love the extra £££ for the work, but i doubt he will help remove it... he'd rather sit back and laugh...lol
the way i think about it now is.... its the only real time it makes sense.... why not do it properly?
i think i could be ordering the new boot floor tomorrow.... lets do this right hey....
dan - how is he making this from scratch?
adam - it won't be getting tucked etc...lol, but there won't be too many wires left.
keiran - so what time are you down next weekend? lol.... i am extremely...
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
velcro maybe?
bond would be best as it would stop it rattling, and you can always slice it off (if you really need too)
really nice car... whilst your on the subject of plates though...
stick on? and on the bonnet?
i know its to keep it out of the way, intercooler set-up etc etc but surely there's another way
i do, vaguely, you got contact details? he sorted a brand new floor from renault?
the reason the ally would of been a pain is to get the strength would mean 4mm ally so that would mean hardly any saving,
the boot floor from a 182 is only £150 so would just order that...
the car is...
well ok the starter motor was piece of piss (after i rang fred), i must have midget hands....
as for the gerbox one.... the only pain there (after i jacked it up and removed it from underneath), was where it passes in-between the gearbox and the mount/battery tray
anyways - job done
