    Check the brake servo vacuum pipe mate. It's one weak area for a leak you can rule out.

    Spose you could. Soon as any throttle input is applied it releases the clutch, so yeah spose you could rest on the accelerator and brake. Probably no good for the clutch though

    You'll have fun regardless mate. It's your first track day so you're not gonna be chasing laptimes. Just remember you're there to have fun. You're not there to race. Many people, my mates included treat it as a day of competition. That's when things go wrong.
