Thanks mate, the Spec C doesn't come with a boot spoiler so i want to try and leave it as is. If not then ill only fit a stick on lip spoiler just to break the back of the car up a bit.
Hmmm no real plans as in buying "go faster parts" the things i want to do first is

Just to up date this, so the Clio is not being used after me taking it for its wheel geo. Ive only driven it to the wheel place in the 6 months its sat on the drive. :cry:

Without a video of the noise it's impossible to diagnose tbh.
It sounds like the dephaser or could be the big end bearings if it's been run low on oil.
If you where at work then you should be working and not on CS. [emoji33]
If it is the big end bearings then your best bet is to buy a s/hand...

Are they painting the inside while its there or are you getting it done once you bring the car home?
You need all of the correct Renault locking tools, end of.

@ADL will sort you out, also you will need the cam cover as they are matched to the head.
Best off sending your head to Andrew and add a pair of cams to while your there.
ALD did the head on my PH1 with Supertech valves and Catcams 421's.
