I've fitted a brand new Febi engine mount today. No problems its an easy job. However when comparing the two mounts side by side, the new mount seems to make the engine sit about an inch higher than the old mount. Its fitted on no problem, and the engine doesn't seem to be sitting at a dodgy...

Investigated a strange noise that I had on the clio....turned out to be a loose wheel... Also swapped the upper engine mount

Take a drive up to EFI. Think a remap there costs less than a RSTuner plus licence and map

Have you checked it on one of the other sensors just to see if you do get a reading?

I used a multimeter to find the duff sensor on my civic. If it's showing open circuit then that's your duff one. A working one would show a fluctuating figure as the wheel is spun

Lock it up again at and see if your cam locking tool slots back in

The horse shoe slides into the slots on the end of the cams to keep them in place. Rotating the belt a few times evens the tension out across the whole length of the belt.

Proper tools used to do the timing? As in genuine Renault ones? Did you spin the belt round a few times with the pulleys loose and cams locked? Checked the horse shoe went back in after turning the engine over a few times?
