Yeah I totally agree with keeping it we only got rid of it because it was one less thing to go wrong for endurance races and it was roughly the same cost as a new dephaser. Was just asking to see if you had done non vvt and how you were finding mid range torque but obviously not applicable :)

Have you checked the hub nut? Should be 285nm :) Does sounds more like warped discs though

Have you got the leads on the right order? From my very small amount of experience sounds like ignition isn't sync'ing correctly Doubt its this but have you knocked the TDC sensor? As above get it on a clip machine and see whats really going on :)
