I'm interested to know why it's worth more ? I mean my 182 has Renault locking wheel nuts same as UK cars , but mine as a better alarm than Renault fit . It has a lifetime warranty whereas the Renault alarms only have an 18 month warranty , and they do go wrong from some posts i've read :eek...
Where does it say UK car on your log book ? It doesn't mention any country on mine and it didn't on my 172's log book ?
What things are different on yours to others ??
Afaik , the only way to tell if its UK or imported is by the VIN number . My insurance company knew my 172 was an import...
No alarm fitted as standard , on entry to the UK , no lokcing wheel nuts and ecthed windows as you've stated . Other than that it's exactly the same car mate .
In my opnion imports are better . I'm on my second import and saved a few grand on each car when i bought them new . They are the...
EXACTLY . FFS , its the same car as a UK car , built in the same factory .They usually come with no alarm as they are fitted over here when they arrive , they are s**t on Renaults anyway and only have an 18 month warranty. If you've got an import just get a CAT 1 alarm fitted , somethinglike a...
What a huge inconvenience warning you to put your seat belt on eh . Maybe it wouldn't be such an huge inconvenience if you were fined anywhere up to £500 for not wearing it or you had an accident and went through the windscreen ;) .
And its 6mph not 10 if you want to be pedantic :clown:
You don't need heat resistant primer or paint . If you don't laqcuer it after you've sprayed it , it'll scratch very easily . A few coats of lacquer , job done .
I remember this happening . Its only about 10 mins from me . I'm sure a couple of guys on here knew him . Such a sad and tragic waste of a young life . I bet most of us on here are guilty of doing daft things in our cars at some time or another . It just brings it home to you , how one mistake...
I'd change the filter too . I'm with DrRollo on this one . I don't really see the point in using a pump . It's alot cheaper to undue the sump plug and drain the oil ;)
Good effort mate .
Why do people think he'll be constantly repainting them ?? If they are done right they won't chip anymore than the front bumper will .

Its good tyres that keep you on the blackstuff though isn't it ;) I'd rather pay a few quid extra for good tyres , knowing that they won't fail me in any weather condtion .
Well the adverts not going to say they are crap in the wet is it , lol .
I had some T1'rs and T1's on my 172 and couldn't wait to change them . They are crap imo , unless you want to drive like an old granny , then they " might " be fine ;)
Like Warren says PE2's :)
Thats one reason to put the new ones on the back and move the older tyres to the front . It creates an interval when both sets will need replacing . Plus you should always have the best tyres on the rear anyway ;)
