They are slightly whiter than the originals , something and nothing really . I've put mine in the interior lights which now look alot better :)

^^^ I beg to differ . All done with aerosols and lacquer .

You don't need heat resistant primer or paint . If you don't laqcuer it after you've sprayed it , it'll scratch very easily . A few coats of lacquer , job done .

My justmatz . Clean your seat belts with Autoglym interior shampoo .Failing that , a diluted solution of Meguiars all purpose cleaner .

Go to a local motor accessory place . Most of them mix paint in aerosols now and it's usually cheaper than Halfords .

I'd change the filter too . I'm with DrRollo on this one . I don't really see the point in using a pump . It's alot cheaper to undue the sump plug and drain the oil ;)

Good effort mate . Why do people think he'll be constantly repainting them ?? If they are done right they won't chip anymore than the front bumper will .

At 13.40 today .Don't know if it was a real 172 sprayed white or a replica but it looked good . You flashed me , i was in the Arctic 182 .

Its good tyres that keep you on the blackstuff though isn't it ;) I'd rather pay a few quid extra for good tyres , knowing that they won't fail me in any weather condtion .

Thats one reason to put the new ones on the back and move the older tyres to the front . It creates an interval when both sets will need replacing . Plus you should always have the best tyres on the rear anyway ;)

8,500 then the fronts needed replacing . Moved the rears to the front and they are on 14,000 . Gonna need changing within the next few weeks .
