hmm, remap of current ECU?
Sounds good.
Undetectable by insurance, but downside is that reno could overwrite it by accident if it goes in for work. I guess a way round this, is that PE take a back up and only charge you a minimal fee to restore it in case of wiping etc.

Dont worry its covered under warranty anyway;)
Is this for definite? All covered under first 1yr or full 3yr warranty etc?
Fitting clear repeaters? Do they not come as standard then? Mine (03) had clear repeaters, so that must mean the first owner fitted them??
Looking good Dai, my god the list gets longer:-
Zorst (DONE)
Front Strut Brace (Bought, not fitted)
Rear Strut Brace (DONE)
ITG Panel Filter (DONE)...
I had the K-Tec Twin 3" fitted to my 172 yesterday, loving it already.
Burbles nicely on tick over, and makes the car feel soo much more responsive.
The twin 3" tailpipes peek out under the bumper and are not too "in your face"
Sounds like the infamous engine knocking under hard acceleration :( Im off to the dealer AGAIN tomorrow to take the RTE out tomorrow to see if they will admit to a problem.
Im tempted by the viper at 200 (all in). ClioSport members should have had an email about it.
Which makes it cheaper than the Hill Power, and also cheaper than the CDA listed above.
Well I picked it up earlier.
They replaced the drivers seat belt, so at least that now works properly.
6miles for their test drive.... and they found..... nothing :( So he said "try it and see how you get on"
I turned out of the dealer, booted it and quel surprise, knock, knock, knock...
Ive had my 172 for 6/7 weeks and its making its first visit to the dealers.
Its in for them to have a look at the drivers seatbelt coz it never rewinds properly and Im forever shutting it in the door [:(]
Also asked them to have a look at the engine mounts coz of the noise when accelerating...
