but open cones in the bay will loose you around 2bhp on a rolling road over a standard paper filter in the airbox, (this is not armchair tuning knowledge, this actual, factual research)

what i am saying andy is i was lead to believe that the RS inlet already gave you a bit more power generally....if this is the case then by theory if you port both you should still have a better bhp from the RS fanimold
i am looking at other forms of modding the engine, either way cams are probably going in......its not a case of yes or no...its pretty much yes, if they give me 5bhp, thats fine....if they give 10bhp+ even better

is there any real point in getting a cup / 182 inlet and matching that over say my original phase 1 inlet
