I once drove my 172 through water that went over the top of the bonnet. It didn't do any damage but it's not something I'd try again.

I'd go for Turinis or some OZ F1's in silver or anthracite then. Here's my Monaco with OZ F1's. It was all downhill after that was taken!

I always thought standard 172 wheels in silver looked best on my Monaco.

I'm hoping to forge my R26's engine next month as the cambelt is due and the car will be off the road anyway for my turbo to be hybrid'd. I've got a few questions about building the engine... What is the standard compression ratio and would this be best for a forged engine? What sized pistons...

Thanks for the passenger ride as well, seems to pull well. I don't think you need to do much to your 172 Pete. The suspension felt good on the roundabout when I drove it. I'd retrim or change the steering wheel as it felt a bit slippy, DS2500 brake pads, matched inlets and an ITG or Pipercross...

Highlighted the relevant parts. You've got different grip levels front and rear unbalancing the car but you still shouldn't be spinning.

I'd get the tracking checked and ask them to check for any play in steering, track rods etc.
