What car and what year is it? Sounds like you have the wrong stereo. They are either Tuner list or Update list. Pretty sure Update list started in 2005.

You might need to download an app on the windows store for your controller so you can update it. I had to do that and it's been perfect since. It's Xbox accessories or something like that, can't remember off the top of my head.

Just in case anyone hasn't seen it, they've got a half decent sale on at the moment. £25 each for Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 on PC. Plus almost everything else is discounted too by the looks of it.

I've got the RM650i, hardly ever have the fan come on with that.

Bit of a difference in graphics card there! May as well stick with 32GB of RAM.

For gaming only, and going by your choice of graphics card, I'd say you could half the RAM and get a lower rated PSU. If it's an i7 you're after then the 6700k should be fine. Not sure on the motherboard, but I'd be looking at Asus personally.

There are some old games in that giveaway that may run on a laptop. The free games on Xbox and PlayStation each month were usually half decent from time to time. Haven't looked in a while tbh.

Might be worth getting it on a ramp and spanner checking everything you can get to.

Mine's on 106k, belts done 3k ago and it hasn't changed in that time. I can't justify the cost for it tbh, pretty sure it means new belts again.

Twanging noises generally point towards either broken or unseated spring.

I haven't had anything changed since it started. Still does it but drives as normal. It can't be heard inside the car so it doesn't bother me.

Mine has done the same since I had the belts and dephaser done. I had it checked out and the diagnosis was lifter and if there's a slight blow in the exhaust it makes it sound worse.
