gt does have the same gearbox so I suppose would give you an idea of how it works etc but I still couldn't even consider buying the RS if the GT was all I could get a shot in
not sure why they would feel the need to lie tbh, they are pushing it and pushing it till they see what fails and what the engine will withstand.
im sure they could sell someone a 12k fully forged engine build for 400bhp but why not do your development first so you can offer the customer the...
Fiesta pulls really well, local tuner here has a 350bhp one on standard internals!! Mega mega quick but very laggy, defeats the purpose of the car, low down grunt drivability etc.
Inlet temps look fine as you said! My twingo was hitting high 50s when the exterior temp was in the teens!
The test drive situation is a joke, i was the same, went to an rs dealer who had no rs cars even used for sale never mind a new demonstrator to show me.
yep all non RS used the same setup including GT 106/128hp versions. id imagine you could use a combination of parts to fit 280mm 182/twingo RS parts.
however id save my money and stick Mintex M1144 pads on it with some brembo or similar discs, more than enough. my GT brakes were brilliant even...
mine used to fly round to 6000rpm, although I found it best to change about 5500, that was panel filter, injectors and rs tuning map, 130hp and 150lbft
I wont say it, I wont say it, I wont sa......
should have bought a GT!
change air filter if its not been replaced recently, has it had oil and plugs recently and the correct Renault plugs?
cam timing next would be my place to look
its non aircon, it does have a stamp in the book for a full timing belt kit recently id have assumed they would have changed the aux belt too but possibly just the actual belt but that's a bit pikey! lol
could be buddy ill check it out although the new aux belt kit is already ordered anyway...
Theres a reset feature and i cant for the life of me remember how its done sure it involves turning the key on and off 3 times or somthing. Search for clio imobiliser reset and you will find it (im on my phone or id find it for you)
Its not mapped at the moment no but ive driven a mapped one and owned a mapped 100 and the 100 is much better just the ratios that let it down which wouldnt be a problem on a 100 converted 80
