yer i know how you mean rich.....but i think i have to treat it as a totally different car, and thats exactly how i feel about the valvers etc as you do with the pugs
not really jamie...looked through trader and it seemed right for standard of car and mileage....
have thought about a willy mate or a hybrid but although they may be mint they are now on silly miles, otherwise i t would be my choice..
ads, could you pm me any info on your old caf's please, am thinking about leaving the fogs out and having them as intakes...cheers bud
^^^^^ dude search my threads and you wilol know my current dilema and your options...... i think that is it above
my thread today - http://cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?p=3761312#post3761312
for anybody thats been following my recent happenings and investigations with cars will know what i have been thinking of doing / looking at and that my 172 was up for sale.
after it being up for sale for around 3-4 weeks and having absolutely zip interest this weekend was going to be d-day...
to me mate it was the handling, i know these are great handling cars but i had a valver before this and it was a benchmark, and imo i don't think the 172 is as good. my 172 is lowered on eibach's so maybe coilovers may change that. i also loved the valver in the end as it was stripped and this...
nah mate, the clio is the only car, did drive mums 306 diesel a bit and did pine for the clio a little after but i don't get excited about driving it like i use to about my mark 1
i have thought about it quite alot but just find it boring, don't think its really that fun to drive. i agree i have thought seriously about what could replace it and i think the glanza is the only thing that really comes close (that isn't french again), i need to sort a test drive really.
more info cahp? experienced?
i have raised this worry before, when i spoke to people about there handling i was told that it was very poor as standard but when you get the strut braces and coilovers on them they are much much better.
any knowledge you have on this would be great cheers
already got all the above chap in my other for sale threads. should be going up tonight i think.
as you say, i can always change the price at a later date but i am not sure about 3995, that opens me up to being dropped quite a bit, however if i put it up at its urrent price i would probably...
well after a look through autotrader there seems to be not a massive amount around, some really steep prices and some really cheap ones, i think the price i currently have up for it fits in well with what prices are currently up there.
apart from the same car basically in bristol up for 3.5k...
NAH I APPRECIATE THAT MATE, (dam caps lock), i may look into the price, maybe something in between, will look into posting the advert tonight i think on the trader, and maybe trade-it too.
the only option is the starlet after the 172 so thats whats happening, just to find a mint one of those then
thats what i thought about biased opinions, the clio is on here, williamsclio, clio16valver, pistonheads.
i don't think the price if dropped really is worth it, i think the price is good for what your getting.
why you specifically recon the glanza over a clio mate?
right i have to make a decision on what i am doing car wise
many will know i have had the phase 1 172 up for sale for a few weeks, the car is mint but for some reason i have had no interest whatsoever, i have been looking at other cars and the only thing i think i want that = what i want in a...
cheers chap
